How To Make Money From Home Using Adsense?
If you want to know how to make money from home using Google's Adsense program here is a simple explanation:
First you have to have a website or blog and you have to make sure that your sites will be able to have the Google Adsense ads on them. Not ALL hosting sites let you to be able to add Adsense ads to them!
One you have your website or blog you can then submit it to Google's Adsense program. They will need to know this information because they will first have to review and approve your site before you can be accepted into the Adsense program.
Once your site has been approved you will then go through the steps of deciding the style and look of your Adsense ads. You don't get to choose which advertisers appear on your site because that will be determined by the content (wording) on your site.
How To Make Money Using The Google Adsense Program:
The adsense revenue that you earn will depend on a number of things. The more traffic you have to your site the more potential ad clicks that you will get.
Another tactic is to use high-paying keywords. These are words or phrases that advertisers pay more money to advertise for. (You can order my list of high-paying keywords by going to my The Adsense Consultant Blog - Part 2.
As an Adsense Consultant I can tell you that there are some different ways that one can use to increase their Adsense revenue or how much Adsense earnings one can make. You should also be able to find all kinds of Adsense Consultant tips and adsense consulting tips by just find some online sites relating to how one can make more money with the Google Adsense program.
Now there are some people that have earned quite a lot of money using Adsense and there have even been a few Adsense Millionaires out there!
Here is a link to one of my more popular blog posts, Just How Much Money Are People Making With The Google Adsense Program.

Four Ways to Make Money Online
Here is an interesting article talking about different ways that one can make money online!
It shouldn't surprise you to find out that one of those ways of making money only has to do with having a blog (or two). If you have a blog (or website) you might want to consider adding Google's Adsense ads. You can find out more about the adsense program by visiting The Adsense Consultant's Blog

A "Word" About Adsense!
To find out more about Google's Adsense program you can visit The Adsense Consultant's Blog.
BUT I should also say that you do have to do some work. I mean you may get lucky and start earning money once your site is up but for a lot others work is going to be required. So many people think that by just putting up a site and adding the adsense ads to it that it will immediately start making money and it doesn't happen that way for a lot of people.
I also want to stress that you don't have to have a "cajillion" visitors to your site to start earning money with adsense. I am a firm believer in "content is king" meaning that its the content on your site (and how you "work" that content) will determine your adsense earnings!
Using my own self as an example, I'm not an Adsense Millionaire yet, but I am certainly aiming for that goal! So far I have managed to get an Adsense payment for the last 12 months and even with the minimum amount of $100 that you need to earn to get an adsense payment the next month - even "THAT" $100 (I have been making more than that) comes in handy!
Here is a link to a blog post showing just how much some people have been making with the adsense program.
I think their number will (hopefully) pleasantly surprise you!

I'm A Photographer!
Remember when I said that one never knows what kind of hidden talents they might posess? Well I have recently come to find out that I am a photographer! It never really occurred until I was visiting one of my "art" galleries that I have online. (You can find out more about my "art" by going to my The 3D Beginner blog.I was looking at other people's art galleries and realized that they had included their own photography into their galleries and I thought to myself that 'hey, I have pictures that I have taken too!' and I started adding them to my art galleries as well.
I have taken quite a few pictures of my local area and have added them to my blog. Now some of the pictures look blurry and some of them are not 100% clear but it is still photography. What is also interesting to note is that most of the pictures that I have taken so far have been with my camera phone. (Note to myself - I need a digital camera!).
Now since I have earned an income from my blogs that means that I can deduct the cost of a lot of things (business expenses) as far as my income taxes are concerned. What comes mostly to mind is that I could buy a digital camera and deduct the cost of it on my income taxes.
Now you may ask about how does this relate to working from home and hopefully it would be obvious but just in case it is not...............................
Because I have a website and blog about my local area, I have been getting email from those that have seen them and these pages are started to get a reputation and their popularity is growing. I have gotten email from some of the local businesses and organizations in the area as well. I put up a picture of our local church and got a nice email from a woman who said that she was feeling nostalgic about the area and was searching online and up came the picture that I had posted of the local church. She said looking at that picture brought back a lot of memories......................
You could start your own little newsletter-type thing about your local area as well. It could be a blog or a website (both that you can get for free!) and you could start to put content on it about your local area. Sign up for adsense so that you can have advertising on your site and start to earn an income from the adsense. Once you reach a certain amount in adsense earnings you can declare this as your business and start to be able to deduct business expenses that are related to running it. Invest in a cameraphone and/or digital camera and go around the area and take pictures. Put those pictures on your site. Let your site build up a reputation and as more and more people come to visit your site it will gain an even bigger reputation. You can then solicit the businesses in your area to advertise on your site. You can make good money using adsense but you can make even more money by getting advertisers directly!
I also have a LaMott Radio (Internet) Station and a LaMott podcast (that I'm still working on) as well. The internet radio station has a yearly fee but the podcast hosting is free.
There are just so many possibilities that one can work with when building up a business such as this. But the important thing to remember is that since your income will be had from advertisers that you have to appeal to them in order for them to want to advertise on your site. Then there can be other forms of income coming from it as well. You could even classify yourself as a reporting and report on different events and issure in your area as well.
There are just so many ways that one can go with an idea such as this one!
Give it some real consideration as a possible business for you to start that you can work from home from it.

Dream Job - A Baby Sitter?
Well there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that!
As a Dream Job consultant I would have a lot of advice and tips for this person.
- First of all I would advise them to check out their own state's website to find out what the criteria is for people being able to take care of children in their own home. Sure you can provide babysitting services for a certain number of children without being considered illegal
- Secondly I would advise that this person look into operating as a official and licenced daycare business. Many grant recipients have received money to start their own daycare business. And some have even received grant funding to start their own daycare business in their home! I had one previous client who was looking for grant funding for her already licensed daycare business and I was able to find her over 10 pages worth of information about grant programs that her for-profit daycare business could apply for!
- There are so many other things that can be associated with operating a babysitting service that could generate additional revenues of income. You could start a babysitting blog or website and have a newsletter as well. Accept advertisers and sponsors who will pay to advertise on your online and offline sites! Join Adsense so that you can put ads on your online sites and start earning money when visitors to your online sites click on the adsense ads that appear on your site.
It's just like those wise old sages have said:
You are only limited by your imagination!

Here is something for you to think about....
I mention this because if you don't have one now, you really should have either a website or blog! There are many free webhosts and free blog sites around. I highly recommend that you start a free blog at Blogger.com. What is so great about Blogger.com is that you can create your own blog for free and you can also add adsense to your blog so that you can earn money when visitors to your blog click on the ads. Here is a link to a blog post about just how much money people have been making with Google's Adsense program.
Hopefully it will encourage to start your own website or blog.

"My Area Has More People Than Jobs......"
I have seen this posted many, many times and as someone that is a Dream Job Consultant, the first thing that crosses my mind is that there is a job opportunity even in that!
The first thing I think about when I see someone who has posted this kind of message is that this person either has access to their own computer or they have access to another person's computer. Now there are limitations when you have to work with someone else's computer but if you are using your own computer then you have a LOT that you can work with!
Number 1 you could start a free blog on Blogger.com and use your blog to talk about the issue of there being no jobs in your area. Once you have added a few entries to your blog then you can apply for adsense and then you can start to earn money and get paid for having advertisements that people click on on your blog!
But there is an even bigger picture here. Since this will be YOUR blog that means that you have control over it. You can post / blog about the issues that affect your area. You can think of this as your blog being your own newspaper or even publishing company! You are the reporter. You are the owner of your blog and you are the editor of your blog!
Where does the money come from? Well adsense is a great option to start out with first because they already have advertisers ready for your blog. This is much more easier than going out and soliciting your own direct advertisers. But once you have adsense ads on your blog you can also now start to solicit your own advertisers!
Visit The Adsense Consultant's Blog to find out more about the adsense program and to take a look at what some others had made using adsense.
But even with the above that doesn't stop your opportunities. You can also visit The Celebrity Blog List and read about Perez Hilton - a man who started his own blog and now has his own tv show!
There is lots that you can do with a blog to help it make money for you!
Take the fact that there are more people than jobs in your area and turn that into an opportunity for you - and hopefully for the rest of your community!

Golf?
If you have an interest in golf you can turn that into a career too! The most obvious way is to start a blog about your golfing interests. Add Adsense ads to your blog and accept ads from various golf-related advertisers. You can also start your own podcast - just like having your own golf talk show - and add golf-related advertisers. You can supplement this by having an offline newsletter relating to golf and you can have an online version of your offline newsletter - or visa versa!
I want to repeat that the golf industry is a billion dollar industry and if you can tap into that you are well on your way!

Do you want to be a writer that gets paid?
And this advice also goes to all of you who are aspiring writers. Why not put up a blog and put your writing on it? I have seen many writer and writing-related blogs online so its not like you would be the first one.
Back in the day a writer was either "discovered" by a publishing company or a writer submitted their work somewhere and got published and got well known. I'm not saying that such a thing couldn't happen today but at least you have more options today than you had back them.
One thing I would advise every aspiring writer to do is to get a copy of The Writer's Market Handbook. I believe that this book is an absolutely "must have"! Consider it an investment! If you don't have enough money to buy a copy of the book then you should check and see if your local library has a copy. This book lists the different publishers and what kinds of submissions that they are looking for in almost every writing genre that you could imagine! It also provides some very good tips and advice concerning copyrights and how you should submit your submissions as far as how you work should look.
I should also mention that since I do a lot of grant research I know that there are many grant programs out there that are writing and writer-related. Did you know that the woman who wrote the Harry Potter books (and who now has more money than the Queen of England) received a grant early in her writing career?
If that doesn't motivate or inspire you I don't know what will!

"Getting Ready To Dump Google's Adsense" - Don't Do It!
There is NO WAY IN THE WORLD! that I would consider dumping the Adsense ads on my blog here! Keeping adsense seems to be quite a chore for some people but as long as you follow Adsense's Terms Of Service then you should be fine!
Now getting back to the person that was thinking of getting rid of their adsense ads - I have this to say to you. Almost any blog has the potential to make money using Adsense. Ask people to give you their opinions about your blog. You might also want to consider getting some professional help with your blog. There are professionals out there who can help optimize your blog or website for Adsense, they can provide you with content-rich information for your website or blog to help increase your Adsense earnings.
Getting Rid of Adsense has got to be one of the most ridiculous ideas I have ever heard of!

Adsense!
Now that's why I mentioned Adsense (again). What can be more simple than starting a blog and putting ads on it? Since you know that you will get paid everytime someone clicks on an ad then that should motivate you to work on your blog/site more! I mean there have been examples of people who have put up sites and never work on them but they still make money on them using Adsense's program - I still say the best way to make money using Adsense is to develope a them for your site. Once you sign up for Adsense and start reviewing your stats you will see what is and what isn't working and you can work on improving it.
Google's Adsense is one of the most easiest ways of making money online that I have ever seen!

Making Money With Adsense
Of course after your site has been accepted by Adsense and you put the ad codes on your site you shouldn't just stop there. Sign in to your Adsense account and start tracking your results. It helps to give your ads a "channel" so that you know which clicks are coming from which sites. Quite simply put a "channel" is a name that you give your ads so that you can track the progress of those ads and the sites that they appear on.
It also helps if your site has a theme! I'm told that Google's Adsense doesn't accept "About Me" sites - meaning sites that just talk about yourself and nothing in particular. Your theme can be almost anything as long as it has a theme. For instance you could talk about where you live and the ads that appear on your site will have ads that have to do with where you live. And that's another thing that you should keep in mind when adding Adsense to your site. Basically speaking Adsense will "crawl" your site and put in the most relevent ads according to the content of your site. For example you may have a site that caters to children so you'll want to be careful about what kinds of ads show up on your site! Adsense has a filtering system that will let you filter ads so you can get rid of the ads that you don't want.
The more traffic/visitors you get to your site the more the number of visitors that will click the ads and the more money that you will make.

Should You Have A Blog?
What's it like having a blog? It's just like having your own diary (one day soon I'm going to review the movie "Bridget Jones's Diary") where you post entries like your thoughts and so on.... The only difference is that since it will be online that will mean than anyone could view your blog. But I think that that is the appeal of having a blog.
Once you have your blog set up - Blogger.com is a good place to set up your blog and what's even better about Blogger is that they encourage you to add Adsense affiliate ads to your blog. If you're still having doubts or want to see what others blogs look like you can still go to the Blogger website and take a look at other people's blogs.
I have been seeing a lot of websites and blogs that talk about making money with Adsense and blogs. As I have posted before there have even been a few people that have made over $1 Million Dollars using Adsense. And once you start getting those checks you want to make more and more money so you find ways to make your blog/website more profitable. That's what a lot of people are doing now once they have had that taste of getting those Adsense checks!
