Don't Use Automated Check-Out Machines at Supermarkets?

Even though this is a working from home blog, I came upon a very interesting blog post online.

The blog post was about automated checkout machines at supermarkets and how they take away from using the cashiers at the supermarket.

I honestly have to say that I am quite torn about this because I can really see both sides of this. Number one I used to be a supermarket cashier myself before I started working at home for myself. And honestly I have to say that I really hated this job. I had to stand on my feet all day, got ruly and rude customers and I hated working 6 days a week with only one day off.

On the plus side, however, it was a steady and regular paycheck!

Now when I shop at the supermarket I used the automatic/self-serve registers because I like bagging my own groceries. But I know that my opinion is only one and I am curious to hear what others have to say about this.

Do the self-serve automatic registers take away from the cashiers that work at the supermarket? What is your opinion of this?

One of my most popular blog posts is I Want To Become A Webcam Model.

This seems to be a very popular post and I'm guessing that it is because a lot of people are interested in working from home using their webcams!

It is true that a lot of people have made money using their webcam - whether it be for sex or by using their webcame for other purposes.

If you are reading this post then I'm guessing that you may be interested in this kind of thing as well.

To put it basically you use your webcam as a basis of being able to make money. Being a webcam model really consists of just that - modeling in front of your webcam.

In a way it's kind of easy when you think about it. You just turn on your webcam and then you make money. One of the ways that you can make money with this is to charge a fee for others to view your webcam - which means that you will have to set up a special webcam page so that only those who pay will be able to access it. While I do have experience with designing web pages, this may be a tricky thing to do - especially when you're talking about having sites where only paid customers will be able to view it.

There are sites that know how to do this kind of thing specifically but remember that you will have to pay for their services as well. There are a lot of people that use them so I'm sure that there are some reputable ones out there - but again you would have to pay for their services - which is fine if you don't mind paying a middleman.

Another problem is how you will be able to accept payment. Paypal which is the most popular way to send and receive money online does NOT allow for sexual-related sites. But like I said before there are a lot of people who are doing this online so there are options available for you to be able to make money online with a sexual-related site.

So as you can see a lot of people are interested in becoming webcam models and there seem to be a lot of people interested in recruiting people to become webcam models.

It is not the type of thing that is for everyone though.

It may seem to be an easy and attractive thing being able to make money from home using your webcam but there are some things that you are going to need - especially a reputable and legitimate way to be able to receive your money online.

It may be shocking for you to read a blog post such as this but since this is a blog about being able to work from home, you should know that this is one of the ways that people are actually making money from home!

There are businesses out there that let you work from home!

I found an online article about a woman who wanted to quit her coporate job so that she could work from home and she found a lot of work from home scams out there but she finally managed to find a legitimate company that hires people to work from their homes.

Within 2 years she was earning $2,000 a month working 30 - 35 hours per week!

There are still some legitimate businesses out there that enable you to work from home acting as customer service representatives. There is a list of companies that are hiring people to work from home.

Starting a web business was another recommendation - one that I have often blogged about many times before. You could take a hobby and turn it into a web business of your own!

Another very good suggestion is that you might want to consider becoming a mystery shopper BUT be very careful about this. Do some checking and some research online about how to become a mystery shopper so that you don't get involved in any kind of scams!

I have been doing some recent postings on the law of attraction. Simply stated the law of attraction says that what you focus on you will manifest and get.

I had posted that I really thought that the law of attraction was the reason that I got my cat! Unfortunately my previous cat died a few years ago and I have been wanting to get another one but I didn't. But I still had reminders of my cat around the house. Mostly it was because of my cat's toys that were still lying about. I still had my cat's food and water dish still around and just refused to part with them because I wanted them to stay when I got another cat.

I was always meaning to get another cat but I guessed that the law of attraction thought that I was taking too long and provided me with the opportunity to get another cat and that opportunity came up! A neighbor of mine's cat had kittens and he offered me one and I took him up on his offer! And that is my law of attraction story concerning my cat! So it really does look like the law of attraction really works!

I also try to apply the law of attraction to my financial life as well! If I think about being wealthy, focus my energy and vibrations on being wealthy then I should be able to manifest wealth!

I really can cite some instances where the law of attraction has worked for me financially. For instance you just never know where money (or clients for that matter) will come from! I have gotten clients that have quite literally come out of the blue! I have manifested money from sources that I didn't even know that I had or from sources that came out of nowhere!

I definitely know that the law of attraction has helped me in my business and my life and I really think that it would benefit you if you started to learn more about the law of attraction!

It could quite literally change your business and your life!

I have often said that the fastest way to make money is to find a need and fill it.

The best way to make money is to take something that you love and turn it into a business.

Whether you have decided to start your own online business, make money by blogging or even starting your own consulting business the next thing that has to be done is to decide how you will get paid!

The best (and fastest) way to get paid is to be able to accept credit card payments online. There are a number of sites that will let you be able to do this! I do a lot of "law of attraction tweets on Twitter. Why? Because I really do believe in the law of attraction and I have seen constant testimonials from others who are very successful who have used the law of attraction.

What is the law of attraction? Simply stated the law of attraction says that what you focus on you will get. So, for example, if you want to make more money then you should focus on wealth and not the lack of having money. Because if you only focus on the lack of money all you will get is a lack of money.

Money comes in many forms! For example I have a blog about government grants where I post about basic information about available grant programs. There is also such a thing as unclaimed money where there are countless lists of accounts that have money that has not been claimed! I have had my own examples of the law of attraction working for me as far as money has been concerned. Money came to me in the most unusual of ways! So I do know that the law of attraction has worked for me. Now I just have to learn how to become a master at it - which is what I am working on.

If you want to be able to work from home visualize it! Take some time out and actually visualize how you would like your life to be! Think about it in as much detail as you can and really feel the feelings of you working from home! Eliminate as much doubt, worry and stress as you can because those feelings will get in the way of what it is that you really want to feel which is successful and wealthy!

I just got finished reading a post from someone who works from home but they are so discouraged with it because they are not making enough money. I work from home and so do many others who work legitimately from home and they are not doing things like paid surveys and the like!

For instance, I, myself do grant research and consultations from home. There are so many myths about government grant programs that the more informed people are the better! I also have a blog about unclaimed money called The Unclaimed Money Blog. I am also a Dream Job Consultant as well! These are but some of the ways that I work and earn money online. PlantStudio is a 3D graphics program that creates - what else - plants!

Here you see a picture of a pink rose that I created using this program. Then I got to thinking that others might be interested in having a copy of this object. (If you would like to download your own free copy of this object just click here.)

So I decided to make different variations of the pink rose

and offer them for sale!

Not only can the pink rose objects be downloaded but the original file from Plant Studio can also be downloaded as well.

Now you may think "Who would be interested in this object?" Right? Well I downloaded the sample pink rose today and so far 2 people have already downloaded it!

How does this related to working from home?

I have mentioned many times on my Dream Job Consultant site that one of the ways that you can start a business working from home is to take a program that is already on your computer and turn that into a business. What I am doing here with PlantStudio is definitely a good example of this!

What you can do is to start to create different varieties of plants and flowers and then sell them online. There are lots of people that are already doing this on 3d-related sites like Renderosity.com and others. Some people (like myself) are even creating sites of their own and selling their own objects themselves.

Hopefully this will encourage you to start looking around on your computer to see what programs that you have that you can use to start your own business.

"What Are You Going To Do With Your Tax Refund?"

Someone asked this question on Twitter and I decided to answer it too.

Since I am self-employed I have to pay a self-employment tax so that means that I really don't get a tax refund. )-:

The money that I earn from my grant research, my Google Adsense income and my ebooklets all have to be reported and I have to pay a tax on that income. Since it isn't automatically take out I have to take it out and account for it myself.

This may seem like one of the more bad aspects of working for one's self but it is something that I would still rather do than to work for someone else!

It also makes filling out my tax forms a little bit more complicated because there is more than just the simple 1040 form that I have to fill out. But I'm happy to say that I am almost finished with filing my tax returns. I have already sent in 2 of the 3 that need to be done and the third on I just have to stick the forms in an envelope and mail them before the 15th! So I'm almost done!

Grants For Starting A Sewing Business?

Here is a reply that I gave to a woman who sent me a message about how she wanted to start a business of her own and was looking for grant programs to help her.

"First of all have you ever heard of "starting" small and allowing your business to grow? Countless times I have blogged about grant programs out there to help people start their own business. I don't know the specifics of your bi-laws and I don't know about the specifics of any bi-laws (if any) at the place that you are moving to and I say that because there may still be a way for you to start your sewing business small from your home while you allow it to grow. What about taking advantage of the fact that you have online access and start a website / blog of your own discussing your business? Get google adsense ads and earn money from that as well.

Unfortunately I am seeing this all the time! People say what they don't have but don't realize what they DO have!

If you are really serious about wanting to start your own business then you are going to have to get serious about finding the information about the grants that you may be eligible to apply for. If you do not want to pay companies / programs to find the grant programs for you I can't understand why you just don't go online and start doing the research for yourself?

The same thing applies to your needing dental care. I have mentioned and posted countless times here on Aidpage (and so have others) about the free dental programs that are out there so I suggest that you look at some of the previous posts here on Aidpage to find the information."

According to an online article graphics designing is a growing and competitive field! Which means while there is a growing opportunity being a graphics designer there is also a lot of competition for it as well.

However I don't want this to discourage you because there are many opportunities for you to have a career as a graphics designer.

You can start small - by doing designing for businesses and organizations in your local area.

Now I realize that this isn't the kind of career for everybody and you may think that you aren't skilled enough to become a graphics designer. But what does a graphic designer do? Amongst other things they design graphics for both online and offline publications and this can include websites as well! And this is definitely a job that lets you be able to work from home.

Before I started getting involved in grant research I was a webpage designer and my very first client was a neighbor of mine! I designed his family's website! So you never know where your clients can come from!

The best way to get started at this is to become your own first client! Design a logo for your work at home business / career. The next thing to do is to put up a website or blog telling everyone about your business! But don't forget to do offline things as well - like creating a flyer telling about your business.

You can design logos and graphics using the most simplest of software! I have Microsoft Paint program that had already came with my computer and I could even use that to create logos and graphics! Most computers should come with the Microsoft Word program and that has even more options to help you create logos and graphics as well! There are lots of free software programs available online that can help you create and design graphics and logos as well!

There have been quite a few people who have begun their online career as a graphics design artist simply by starting with a website or a blog!

This idea came to me when I was away from the computer.

It seems like a lot of people are looking for a fast way to make money online.

I agree with what the experts have said and that is that making money online will take some time! You have to build up a reputation and that takes time!

Still there are a lot of people that want to make money online fast and I mean REAL fast! So here is the idea that I came up with and you may not like it.

One way to make fast money online is simply to sell something. And this will not be easy as it sounds.

In theory you sell a product or service. People see what you have to sell and then they buy it. BUT there are some things that you have to take into account.

First of all what is it that you are going to sell. Logic would dictate that if you sell a product or service that is popular - something that people want to buy - then you will make more money by selling it.

Of course you have to find out what it is that is popular and that is going to take some research on your part! That is going to take time.

Secondly how will the people know about your product or service that you have to sell? Well you have to tell them. You do that by having a website or even a blog. There are also some sites that have already been created where you can sell online - places like Ebay for instance. Once you have done that you will have to get people to look at what your selling and that means that you will have to drive traffic to the site where you are selling something. The more people that visit your site the more likely you will get some customers.

Next, how are you going to get paid? The most simplest solution would be to have a Paypal account where people would click on your Paypal button and you would get paid for your product or service. But bear in mind that in order to get a Paypal account you have to meet their requirements.

I'm sorry that this may seem to be getting a little bit complicated but I just don't believe that it is as simple to be able to make money online fast. Of course there have been exceptions where people have made a lot of money online in a small amount of time. This just doesn't work for everyone.

The only way that you are going to know this for sure is to try it out yourself. If you have a product or service that you can sell online then start a website and see how it goes.

Most money making opportunities are in the world of business. I specifically like online businesses. You may not know it, but you can put up an informational blog or website on some topic of interest to you and make money without ever selling a thing or talking to a single customer or even leaving your home. I know because my wife and I have done it, and made many times more money than from any job we've had.

Essentially you create a blog or site that covers a niche or subject with some demand. Ideally find one among your interests, because it is easier to start with something you know and easier to sustain your motivation with a subject you have a true interest in. You then promote your site in various ways so people who share your interest come to the site.

If you monetize it with pay-per-click advertising (you make money every time someone clicks on an ad) or affiliate products (you get a commission when they click on a link and then buy something), you never have to deal with credit cards. If you want to know how to make money from home using Google's Adsense program here is a simple explanation:

First you have to have a website or blog and you have to make sure that your sites will be able to have the Google Adsense ads on them. Not ALL hosting sites let you to be able to add Adsense ads to them!

One you have your website or blog you can then submit it to Google's Adsense program. They will need to know this information because they will first have to review and approve your site before you can be accepted into the Adsense program.

Once your site has been approved you will then go through the steps of deciding the style and look of your Adsense ads. You don't get to choose which advertisers appear on your site because that will be determined by the content (wording) on your site.

I was reading this blog post online about a possible working at home scam and I thought that I would pass the information along to you. It occurred to me that if I'm going to blog about working at home I should include the bad along with the good!

I'm sure that you have seen websites from those who have claimed that they have made a ton of money and that you could too if you just ordered their products. There is one such site that claims this and when I went to the site the person offered to show you how to make a lot of money online and he was going to show you how to do it for free!

I did a little checking around and I found a blog post from someone who actually "signed up for the program and then he posted his review of the program on his blog!

The results? - Well it doesn't look too good!

It seems the program is a sort of "spin off" of the Herbalife program which also seems to be having problems of their own!

One of the first things that you should do is to install a stats tracker to your blog. This lets you know where your blog traffic is coming from and once you know that then you can work on increasing the number of visitors to your blog.

Also a good portion of this is going to depend on what your blog is about. Who would your blog appeal to most? When you answer that question then you will have the answer to who your target market is. And then you will know who you will have to reach out to in order to increase the number of visitors to your blog.

It is going to require some work on your part but if you're looking to increase the number of people that visit your blog then its time to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

How can a student make money?

I'm 15 a guy and a student.How can I make money without getting a job as such?

Because of your age your options are somewhat limited. If you want to receive money you are going to have to give something back in return.

Lots of people have been making money online but because of your age the way that you can receive payments is limited even if you do have a bank account.

There have been lots of suggestions as to how teenagers can earn extra money and one way is to start a dog-walking service. You'd be surprise at the number of people who want this service so that they won't have to walk their dogs theirselves.

You can also do yard work and another popular suggestion has been to start an errand service.

And since I am a Dream Job Consultant I should ask you what is it that you love to do? What is your Dream Job?

I even had one guy send me an email asking me how he could make $5K a month basically without doing anything. Well some work is going to be required but it is possible to make $5K a month online.

You should also do some searching online because there are lots of sites that have ways, suggestions and advice about how one can make money - both online and off.

I have another blog about taking paid surveys as another way of making money online. As a result of that blog, I found another site that could be used as another way to be able to generate some more income.

Another way that you could earn some money online would be for you to write some articles (yes, just like a writer!) and submit them online. There is one website that I am currently investigating now - actually I'm trying to register with them - that will pay you for your article submissions! Actually to break it down more accurately they have different types of payments. For example what they seem to be best known for is the fact that people can submit articles and you earn money the more that people view your article. Another payment option is that this site will pay you upfront for articles before they are published.

Unfortunately I'm having some problems with trying to join this site! I am about 2/3rd's away from completing the process to register but I'm having problems with this last step. I have already sent them an email to discuss the problem. They also have a fax number as well as a physical address and phone number that I can use to contact them as well.

If all goes well with this site I will let you know.

But this isn't the only site that is offering payment for submitting articles. There are others out there as well. The more legitimate they are - the better!

The 3D Beginner?

I blogged before about being a 3D Beginner as I am learning about 3D designing. So far this has been a very interesting hobby for me but I do aspire to earn some money from it professionally one day. However I know that I am a beginner at this so I'm just having fun learning all the new things associated with 3D designing.

I have found lots of great 3D programs online for free and they are basically what I use as I practice my 3D designing.

This means that I have to learn the programs as well and obsessive compulsive that I am - LOL! - I'm learning the programs from scratch - meaning I'm reading the manuals and learning how to use all the "bells and whistles".

As I was going through one of my fractal programs, it occurred to me something that I could do to earn money - still beginner that I am!

I'm currently going through one of my fractal programs - UltraFractal - just going through the different formulas and what not to see what interesting designs I could come up with and to be quite honest I was getting kind of bored doing it - but if I wanted to see what kind of fractal designs I could come up with then I basically wanted to go through all of them just so I didn't miss anything. A little while later when I took a break from the computer it occurred to me that some of the designs I was coming up with might just be useful to other 3D designers! I mean I belong to Renderosity.com and I have seen others selling designs too and I just now put that together!

Basically this is what I am talking about. As I go through the program and come up with some interesting design patterns others might like them too - enough to pay for getting a copy of them.

When I find an interesting design pattern I'll post it to one of my 3D-related sites or even my The 3D Beginner Blog so that if people like it enough to want to buy it they will be able to do so. All it takes is a website (or blog) where you can post a sample of the work and also for you to have a way for others to be able to pay for it - using something like Paypal.

Now this is a very good example of taking a program that you already have on your computer and using it to make something that could possibly earn you some income.

It also reminds me to point out that even though you may be a beginner at something doesn't mean that you don't have something that you could sell!

How I Made A Quick $20 Online In A Matter Of Hours!

My main work is that of being an Adsense Consultant plus I have some other titles and services as well!

Just cruising online one day, I decided to try a little experiment just to see if I could get my hands on some money quickly!

Since I do have a Paypal account that means that any money sent to my Paypal account can be spent almost immediately!

So I did some checking online and found someone who was looking for someone to help crack a computer-graphic-related code! They said that they would deposit $20 in to a person's Paypal account if they were able to crack the code! Since I wasn't familiar with this kind of code I had to do some online checking to find out more about it - but guess what? I was the first person to crack the code and it took the person all of 30 minutes to deposit the money to my Paypal account (and it took me only an hour to spend it right away - LOL!)

If you would like to know the exact details of how I found this person who was offering this free money, then just send a $10 payment to my Paypal address which is:

However I should warn you that even though this worked for me on the first try, subsequent efforts haven't been as successful! But getting that $20 surely did feel good!

Just found this site online!

It seems that Paypal has a site where people offer money for "doing stuff"! One example is someone offering $20 to clean their room!

Paypal calls it "doing stuff for money".

How it works is that you enter your name, the person's name who you are making the offer to, how much you are offering and what it is that you want done.

So far I haven't found any "open" invitations - meaning you have to specifically enter in someone's email address instead of making your paypal offer open to everyone.

While doing a little surfing online I found a link to a message forum where someone is offering to pay $20 via Paypal for a logo design! (Personally I wouldn't enter it myself because I think that this is being treated cheaply) However even though its something I wouldn't enter doesn't mean that someone else might not be interested in applying.

Keep in mind that this logo design contest is but just 1 day old so that means that you still have some time because a winning logo hasn't been selected yet.

Here is an example of someone who started their own busineess:

One woman knew that her ad-agency job wasn’t safe. Clients weren’t renewing their contracts, no new business was coming in, and her workload as a public-relations officer was light. Plus, she was low on the totem pole, since she’d only been there for a year. When the ax finally fell in mid-December, she regretted not starting her job search earlier. Days turned into weeks as she tried to get an interview.

And then an unexpected opportunity fell into her lap. She got a bunch of inquiries about a sideline she dabbled in occasionally: photography.
“When I got laid off, I didn’t really expect to start my photography business full time,” says the 28-year-old who studied photography at a University in San Francisco. But when she got the inquiries, “a light went off when this happened. This was it. This was what I’m going to do. Ever since then, I’ve been working nonstop.”|

Her first step was to revamp a Web site she had set up, to make it more professional. She also had to make some big adjustments to her own style. For one thing, she learned to stop being passive with clients. At first, when people asked about a job, she would say, “Just let me know when you’d like to do this.” But they often wouldn’t call back. Now she says, “When do you want to do this? I have been seeing a lot about these paid survey sites for a while now but personally haven't taken part in them until now!

Since this is relatively new to me I definitely want to find out more about it. I think what got me more interested was that someone posted that they made $6,000 just by taking paid surveys!

If this is a legitimate way that one can work from home I am all for it! But I also know that you have to be careful out there because some of these survey sites may just be scams!

Well its ironic that I saw your post because I do grant research for a living.

There are grant programs for people that want to start their own business and you are at a double plus because you are female.

Like the others have posted it would be a good idea for you to see what kind of benefits, disability and otherwise that you qualify for - the reason being the more benefits you qualify for the more money you will have for your business.

Getting a grant for an online store is not impossible because there have been quite a few grant recipients who have gotten grant monies for online ventures however its the specifics of the kind of online business that you want to start that has to be considered when looking for grant programs to help you start your online business.

You mentioned that you want to sell homemade soaps so you should look into grant programs relating to that such as the fact that you may be using certain ingredients in your soap that there may be a grant program to support that. There are grant programs for research which is something that you may be involved with while making your soaps, perhaps you could tie your soapmaking products with something where there is a grant program for it.

The same thing applies to your mention about adding additional gift basket products. Could they be tied in with a certain customer market like it being a product for disabled persons - something along the lines of that?

It might also behoove you to start a blog and the reason why I say that is because you would be able to put Google's Adsense on that blog and start earning income from that as well.

A "regular" job is a job that you earn money from even if other people don't consider it a "regular" job. I have a Working From Home Blog and you would be amazed at the many and different types of jobs that people have created for themselves!

Looking at your post I see just so many possibilities for you. When you become more familiar with Ebay and have had more experience with it you could start selling for others. As a matter of fact I remember watching a program where a woman with disabilities started selling on Ebay and she became so popular that she started selling for others and even started classes on teaching others with disabilities about how to sell on Ebay.

You have more possibilities and opportunities than you know!

Do you want to make a profit from the website for your band? Do you want your site to look professional? Are you talking about selling stuff as far as your band goes? You can show pictures of what your band has to sell, take payments via paypal. You can also add adsense ads to your site as well. You earn money when people click on the ads.

A lot of bands have myspace pages but you can't add adsense ads to myspace pages but you CAN have both a myspace and a regular website.

Your band could also get sponsors and advertisers of their own.

You could also start a podcast/talkshow featuring your band - all for free!

There are a lot of free ways to make your site profitable but you have to do the work and not just build a site and then do nothing else to it.

I was watching an episode of Dr. Phil today and it was about getting help with one's financial situation(s).

There was one couple profiled who were in a lot of financial debt a few years ago. They had maxed out on their credit cards and they were having a lot of financial problems! Fast-forward to the present and the wife is making $6,000 a month working online being a virtual assistant! You can do some checking online but basically being a virtual assistant means that you are providing help to other via being online and on the internet. For example you can provide tutoring services to others, you can provide secretarial services as well. There was also a mention of how the wife also had an Ebay business as well.

I'm sorry to say that I forgot what it was that they husband does but he also works from home and he works online as well.

This means that both of the couple are working from home and making a good salary for themselves when just a short time ago they were having very serious financial problems.

This is just another very good example of one (actually two people) being able to work from home and make a living from it!

Using Your Talent!

Maybe you may find it hard to believe, you may have "talents" that you don't think that you could possibly use to start a business of your own.

Currently I am editing my Frappr site. Frappr is a site where you can create a map of almost anything that you like. My current Frappr map is for where I live - LaMott, Pa!

The map was originally for my LaMott Radio Internet Station but that is temporarily down now. However there is still the LaMott Podcast that I have!

I have a background in radio broadcasting so having both an Internet Radio station AND a podcast is quite fun for me - even though it is a bit of work doing the production for it.

I mention this because it occurred to me that this is a special talent / skill that I have that I can put to good use. And it also occurred to me that since I have a "Working From Home" blog that I should post about it here because this is a skill that you can use to work from home. Not everyone has this specific type of skill but you may have a skill or talent of your own that you can put to good use and make it profitable for yourself!

With both the Internet radio station and the podcast I can generate income from sponsorship and advertisements. I'm also thinking about my local community center where I can post flyers and even a newsletter that I can create relating to both the podcast and the Internet radio station - which would generate more interest and hopefully more revenue!

If you're asking what this may have to do with you it is quite simple! Do you have a talent or skill that you can turn into a profitable business? The answer is probably "Yes" but you may not think that you have any kind of talent or skill that you can turn into a business.

One of the favorite things that I like to mention on my Dream Job Consultation page is the fact that you could even turn something that you hate into a profitable business of your own! My most favorite example of this is the whole subject of washing dishes. Now you may hate washing dishes - but guess what? - you are not alone! What about starting your own "I HATE WASHING DISHES" club?

How would you start it? How about starting with a free blog where you don't have to pay anything to have the blog and you start posting about your experiences relating to washing dishes - which you hate to do? You could add pictures regarding it and continue to post about your experiences. If you promote your blog (or website) you will start to get visitors and hopefully even a few of those visitors will start posting comments to your site. You can mention that you are starting a club about it and hopefully you will get people interested enough to join. You can decide whether or not you want to charge a fee or not - but the main point is to just get started to get started getting more interest to your site.

To start earning money you can add Google's Adsense program to your site so that you can have ads on your site where you earn money when visitors to your site click on the ads.

Promote your site, get more traffic and more visitors and optimize your site for the search engines so that even more people will find it!

The more traffic that you generate the more interesting and appealing you will look to potential advertisers! You may even get advertisers who will want to advertise on your site directly instead of going through a third party and that will mean even MORE money for you!

To start to make even more money start writing reviews of the different products that you use relating to washing the dishes. Companies are always interested in what people think of their products! You may even get comments and suggestions from other consumers who are using the same product and that will even bring more interest - and hopefully more traffic to your site - thus making it more popular!

There are so many additional things that can be added to this!

You could start a podcast of reviews. Just think about it. Listen to a local radio station or tv show and notice the advertising and the kinds of ads that are appearing! That could be YOU if you had your own podcast because it would be like having a show of your own!

Now maybe there is something else that you do or don't like that you could turn into a business - but hopefully you are getting my point here!

If you don't think that you have any special talents or skills just think about what you do in the course of a day! Look around you. Do you collect something, have a special hobby or special interest? You may be able to turn that into a profitable business of your own!

Please think about it and give it some thought!

So many people are being laid off from their jobs and they are having a hard time finding another one. But being able to do something profitable in the meantime can surely do more harm than good!

Some of these bx error codes have to do with bloggers having problems uploading and using new blog templates that they have found online.

BUT there are also a number of people asking around about having a blog template designed specifically for them and that is what made me think of this blog.

Work From Home? Are They All Scams?

Of course not!

I work from home and so do many other people!

It's the KIND of work that you are looking for that may be the problem!

I once mentioned about a business that one could start from their home looking at all the sex sites that are online because let's face it - sex sells!

People have come up with all kinds of ways to use the Internet to help make money for them. And just in case you missed the last few times that I have mentioned Google's Adsense program, let me remind you again that this is a program where you add ads to your website or blog and you earn money when visitors to your site click on those ads. I use Adsense and so far I have been getting a monthly payment from them for the past two years! Any income is welcomed! My adsense earnings have allowed for me to pay for some of my Internet access and even some of my regular monthly bills as well and like I posted above ANY income is welcomed!

On the side of this blog I offer an ebooklet listing the names of some companies that are hiring people to work from their homes! These are legitimate companies that are hiring people to work from their homes and there ARE legitimate companies that are hiring people to work from their homes. You just have to be able to know which ones are the RIGHT companies that are hiring people to work from home! Which leads me to a very interesting newstory that I was watching on TV the other day about people who were looking for ways to work from home. They found some online sites where some of them posted their resumes and / or they answered what looked to be legitimate ads looking to hire people to work from home. The problem was that these so-called businesses were sending checks to people and telling them to cash them and send some of the money elsewhere and when people deposited these checks into their bank accounts the checks turned out to be fraudulent and the people ended up having to make those checks good out of their own money!

Unfortunately I can see where people might get taken in for this kind of thing because their need for money is so great! (And what makes the story even more worse is that a lot of these companies turned out to be from Nigeria where a lot of scams are coming from!)

So how does find a legitimate way to work from home? Well if you're looking for a company that you can work from home for you are going to have to do some research! You are going to have to find the legitimate companies that you can work from home for and that is going to require that you do some work to seek them out and find them - But believe me they are out there!

Another solution is for you to work for yourself! What is is that you love to do?

I was watching a very interesting program about people who design wedding dresses and ALL of them loved what they were doing. One woman who started her own design business made $30 Million Dollars last year and when she started she didn't even know how to sew!

This seems to be a re-occuring theme when watching about people who have started their own successful businesses - they love what they do!

So I ask you again - What is it that you love to do?

As I mentioned before, one of my hobbies is 3D designing and I have a blog called The 3D Beginner. Since there is so much to learn about 3D designing I go to a lot of 3D-related websites and that is how I found out about this latest job opportunity!

Daz3D is a website about 3D designing and its also a community of sorts for 3D designers as well! Designers here sell their work such as 3d models that they have made and textures made specifically for 3D models as well. Although this is a great site to be able to sell one's 3D-related models there is also a link to the site's "job opportunities" as well! They have a lot of graphic-related job openings and they even have a job opening for a senior web designer. They also have some business-related job openings as well! A Government Grant "Scam" Alert!

As someone that does grant research and consultations for a living, it pains me to have to read articles about companies and / or other businesses that are not operating on the up and up! I read an online article about one such company and I will be providing a link to it below the blog post.

It seems that this "government grant" business asks you to pay something like $1 or $2 plus shipping and handling for sending you their government grant cd. BUT you might also be billed monthly on your credit card account! It's supposed to be in the fine print. They are currently advertising on the popular Facebook site(s).

Here is a link to the article. The article itself provides a lot of good information about this company including mentioning how one can get that monthly charge to their credit card canceled.

Like I said I do grant research for a living (you can visit my Grant Basics 101 Blog to find out more information about what I do and if you would like to find out more information about government grant programs that you may be eligible for.)

I'm sure that basically if you are curious about government grant programs one of the most frequently asked question has got to be "Are there any government grant programs to help start a business" and the answer to that is Yes! Another popular frequently asked question is about government grants and starting a daycare business - again the answer is yes there are government (and other) grant programs that can help you start your own daycare business! 3D Artist Needed?

I have mentioned in previous blog posts that I am having fun learning 3D design. I also have another blog called The 3D Beginner.

Since I'm such a fan of 3D, I have also been visiting some related message forums and came up this post:

I got an email today that is from a group who make pools and waterfalls for display within hotels. This group is looking for a means to show the customer what it will look like before its actually done. They want some Bryce people to do the art..and they will pay for it.

I dont have a price yet, but Im coming here first to ask if anyone would be interested in making pools and waterfall images in Bryce then compositing these images onto an image of the hotel's interior (or exterior as the case may be)

Ive told them it can be done. I dont have time to do this. But if you've ever wanted to get a little cash out of your hobby...maybe actually have bryce pay for itself, this is a chance. I'll probably know more tomorrow.

anyhow, think about it so when more details come forward, you can be ready. I imagine this will pay fairly well. Pools and the like are not in-expensive..so this should pay decently to those knowledgable of bryce and compositing...cause it shouldnt take that long in most cases to make. "

For those of you who don't know what Bryce is - it is a 3d program that lets you make different renders. You can create your own scenes. Here is one of my Bryce renders:

It seems that there was a business looking for 3D artists to create some work for them.

You never know where opportunities are going to come from!

Sad to say that this was an "older" posting and there wasn't a link to the place that was doing the hiring but I hope you get my idea!

As a matter of fact if you are a Bryce artist then you should start a website (or even a blog like I did) and put your work up! Even if you think it's not good you're probably being a little to hard on yourself! I have entered 3d contests and posted my works online and in my various 3d-related art galleries specifically because I wanted some critique.

As a matter of fact (again) you may not know this but there are those who make 3d models for Bryce (and other 3d programs) and actually sell them online - which is something that you could do too!

Please bear in mind that this is just but one example of a "talent" that can be utilized. YOU may have a talent that you thought wasn't even possible to make a profession out of but this blog post just goes to show you that you never know where an opportunity may come up!

On a more personal note, I love my 3D hobby and as I get better at it who knows what kind of opportunities there may be! The same could be said for someone else who has a hobby that they enjoy but who might think that they couldn't make any money from it.

This is one of my favorite TV shows! Initially I started watching it because I am a big fan of David Boreanaz (and yes I'm a big "Angel" and Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan too

But as I started to watch the program I grew more interested in the main female character. (and its supposed to be based on a real-life woman). The reason being is because she is good at what she does - so much so that she has become wealthy by getting her own book deals - and yes this does happen in real life! Also since she is so good at what she does people (and the government) seek her out because of her expertise!

Now I know that this is only a TV show but it does have some similarities to real life in that it shows a great example of someone who loves what they do and who have managed to make a good living at it.

Now "Bones" may not be your sort of thing but it does illustrate a good point - the one I mentioned above.

I also watched "Hell's Kitchen" with Gordon Ramsey - another example of someone who loves what he does and has managed to create a financial empire from it!

I was reading an article from my local paper about a guy who enjoys running. He started at the age of ten. Now in his 50's he has already written 2 books!

All of the above examples, great examples of those who love what they do and have managed to earn money from it!

You'd Probably Be Surprised At The Kind Of Clients You Can Get!

Okay! You have a computer and you would like to work from home BUT you don't know what you could possibly do?

Well the mere fact that you have a computer of your own at home is a very big PLUS!

Of course I hope that it doesn't surprise you that not everyone has their own computer. Even more interesting is the fact that even though some people do have a computer they are still willing to pay other people to find information for them!

Here is a good example!

I have a client which is an older woman who pays me to find the cheapest airline flights for her. She is a former co-worker and I still see here often and when she found out that I was a computer nut she asked me to find her some cheaper airline fares. Now she does have a computer of her own but for reasons of her own she would rather have someone else find the information for her. (And in this case that someone else just happens to be me!

You never know where a possible client can come from!

Some of the suggestions might seem obvious - but maybe only obvious to some. I won't give away all the details of the article but I will mention that one of the suggestions stood out (to me) because its something I hadn't even thought about.

Did you know that there will be another census taken by our government to count the population (again)? And of course they are going to need census takers.........

Never Give Up?

I just posted on my Foreclosure 101 Blog about a family that managed to save their home from foreclosure by putting up a website and asking for donations! (So far they have received over $10,000 in donations!)

While this is very good news some things in the article stood out to me. The first was that the mother had said that she was determined that foreclosure of her home was NOT going to happen! She had made up her mind and she had made it come true!

The second thing was the mere fact that they had put up a website to ask for donations - which is something that I have talked a lot about in this blog!

Personally I was very dis-heartened when AOL discontinued its webpage hosting for its members (which I am one of!) but there are still hosting sites online where you can put up a website for free! There is also still Blogger.com where you can create a blog for free as well!

I highly applaud this family's effort and I hope it encourages everyone that where there is a will there is a way!

I know that I have blogged about Ebay before - saying that it was a good way to be able to make money online buying and selling stuff and allowing you to work from home!

But I thought that I would post about Ebay again after getting a reply to one of my posts from someone saying that they were having problems understanding Ebay.

When I first started using Ebay it was hard for me to understand it too! But long story short I learned my way around! You should also know that Ebay has message forums where you can get answers to questions that you may have about Ebay.

For those of you that don't know what Ebay is - it is probably one of the most popular sites for buying and selling things! There are even some "brick and mortar" businesses that are buying and selling on Ebay! I have even seen our own government selling on Ebay!

People are starting Ebay businesses where they are buying and selling and these Ebay businesses are their sole source of income! There was even a story on TV about people who have started successful ebay careers!

Basically speaking if you have something to sell you can sell it on Ebay. There are some fees and charges associated with you being able to sell your items so you should check them out first!

BUT as I have said before people have been successfully been making money online using Ebay! For example I watched one story of someone who goes to yard sales and the like to find things that they can sell on Ebay!

As you get better and better at it you may be able to build up a reputation where buyers may contact you directly looking for items!

Well it would help to know what area you live in - whether you live near a big town.

Basically speaking you should find the voice talent agencies and send them a tape of your voice. You should also find their contact information and contact them to find out what their procedure is for hiring voice talent. Advertising agencies are also a good source of information. Once your reputation grows you should be able to get more and more work.

Do a little surfing online and find out more about how to to become a professional voice actor. There is bound to be a good bit of information about it online.

Right now I just need to make money but I would eventually like to start my own mommy/twin business. Actually from reading your comment I have a few ideas yes!

Well if your first concern is being able to make money now then the best piece of advice that I have posted on my Consultation Page is to find a need and fill it. That simply means that if you can find a pressing need that needs to be filled then you may be able to make money sooner rather than later. What is a pressing need? Since one of your objectives is to stay at home have YOU considered opening up a childcare business? Goodness knows that there are a lot of grant and funding programs out there for child and daycare which I have posted about on both my Grant Basics 101 Blog and my Daycare Grants Related page! And you would be providing a very much needed need!

If this doesn't appeal to you then you might want to try Google's Adsense Program. I have talked about that many times when suggesting legitimate work at home opportunities! With Google's Adsense program you can put ads on your website or blog and you earn money when visitors to your site click on those ads!

This also brings up the related idea of you maybe starting a blog and / or a website that talks about your experiences of being a mother of twins. You can think of it as having your own little newsletter and / or magazine and with that in mind you could solicit (and more better having potential advertisers come to YOU for more direct advertising - which pays much better!

You are right in that a lot of work from home "opportunities" are scams but people are looking for the fastest way to make money and this is not the way - simply because you WILL get scammed!

Are there places where you can work for someone else from your home? The answer is yes but you will have to do some searching to find the legitimate ones. But they are out there! I do in fact know of one program (that I have mentioned many times before) where a company hires those who are disabled and/or those that want to work from home and the people work as customer service representatives! I provide this information to those clients of mine who are looking for legitimate work at home opportunities working for a company.

The problem that I see in those that want to work from home is that it seems that they want to be able to make money right away - like yesterday! This is where fulfilling a need comes in! If you can find a need that has to be filled then you have the potential to earn money sooner rather than later. That is why doing work like child/day care, yard work or even running an errand service have been suggested as good starting businesses for someone that wants to work from home. Another popular business-starting idea is starting a dog-walking business - another need that people seem to need!

As I have always said: the fastest way to make money is to find a need and fulfill it. But the BEST way to make money is to start doing something that you love and turn that into a business!

Your Mommy/twin business sounds like a very good idea to me but like with all new businesses it will take you some time to build it up and build its reputation up! You may want to consider looking into grants to help provide you with some start-up money for your business idea.

I realize that this may be something that you may not want to hear but it really does take time before you start to earn money regardless of whether you want to work for someone else or start your own business. Hopefully I have given you some food for thought to help you decide what you want to do.

I was reading online about how someone wanted to get into broadcasting and it made me remember my days in radio broadcasting. I was a DJ for about 10 years but since I worked at mostly smaller stations I did a lot of other jobs at the radio stations as well! I was even a receptionist at one time - I really hated that! But it was a stepping stone to my first DJ job.

I believe that radio stations and radio station broadcasting has changed a lot since the time that I was a DJ - although I do think that the more smaller markets still offer some great opportunities for those that want to be in broadcasting.

How did I start my DJ career? Well I went to broadcasting school for about 6 months. Then it took me about 2 years before I got my first radio job! In those 2 years I almost gave up hope but I got that first job because one of my co-students worked there and that's how I got the job there. Like I mentioned above, I started off as being the receptionist.

I kept saying that I wanted to be on the air and it took about a year before I finally did get on the air! There was a DJ that didn't show up and that is when they put me behind the mike! I had been a DJ ever since!

But like I said before, these were smaller radio stations and I did just about everything from producing commercials to repairing some of the equipment!

I mention this because I believe that the radio biz has changed a lot! When I was a DJ we could pick the music that we played as long as it stayed within the realms of the format. I have worked at stations playing everything from gospel/christian music to classic rock 'n roll! Nowadays a lot of the major stations work from a playlist or - more worse - work from a satallite feed from somewhere else! The last radio station that I worked for fired about 90% of its air staff (including me) to broadcast a feed from Califorinia.

I miss those broadcasting days but am reminded that one can be their own broadcaster on the Internet!

If this is something that interests you, it may be more easier to do than you think! I have had an Internet radio station and while it was not free it did cost about $100 a year and if you can "swing" that then you might want to take a look at Live365.com.

You could also start your own podcast which would be like having your own talk show! There are some good (and free) podcast hosting sites online. Just do a search for them and you should find some good links to get you started!

Having a podcast is like having your own talkshow and you could also consider it comparable to having your own audio blog as well.

You never know who may be listening or where that next big (and profitable) opportunity may come from!

Blog Template Designer?

I saw someone posting asking for someone to help them design a custom made blog - the kind of design they wanted was one that no one else has done before!

Of course my "Dream Job Consultant mode took over and I thought that I would post about this here.

Don't you find it interesting that with all the different websites out there that offer different blog layouts and different blog templates that there would be someone who was still requesting a custom-made blog template? (This just goes to show you that there seems to be a marketplace for almost anything!)

Now designing and creating custom-made templates isn't all that easy - at least to some of us. For those of you that know how to do this it isn't that hard!

So there may be a market for something that you might not think that there is a market for!

3D Graphics Designer?

I think that my career as a 3d graphics designer is way, way in the future but it is still a fun thing to do! Right now this is a hobby for me and you can read more about it on my The 3D Beginner blog.

It may be a hard thing to believe but lots of people have turned their hobbies into successful careers!

I have some information on my Dream Job Consultation site about how one could take a program that they already have installed on their computer and turn that into a career that you can work from home.

The above render I made with a 3d program called Daz Studio. The program was available as a free download and for a free download it is quite a very powerful program!

Could one use this program as a career that they could start from home? The answer is a most definite YES!

If you are already a 3d artist then it really goes without saying that having this program could definitely be useful as an added tool for your career! (And you should know that as a grant researcher I have found that there are quite a number of grant programs for artists!)

But it's not just this program, but there are lots of free programs available for download all over the Internet! You could download and use one of them to start your very own successful career that you can start working from home with!

Even if you have a hobby that isn't related to a free downloadable program, you should know that lots of people have turned their hobbies into a successful and profitable career!

You may not think that any hobby of yours could be turned into a successful career but you would be wrong!

Just remember that there is someone out there who is doing your hobby and they have managed to turn it into a successful career of their own!

Ever heard of Paula Deen? She has (amongst other things) a cooking show on the Food Network!

All in all it comes down to one thing - Paula Deen loves to cook and it shows!

She didn't start out as an overnight sensation - quite the contrary the people at the Food Network felt that she wouldn't be able to draw in a large audience because of the way she looked - boy were they wrong!

Now I know you may be saying sure there are a lot of people that love to cook and they don't have Paula Deen's success and my answer to you would be "Well why don't they have her success?"

Basically speaking Paula Deen got her start when she started making sandwiches. She started off with $200. Her sandwiches became a success and that success allowed her to open a restaurant and then Oprah came a-calling and that was the start of Paula Deen's success!

Besides having a show on the Food Network, Paula Deen has written cook books, has a line of other products and I'm told that the house she lives in is quite big!

I Really Do Pity The Poor Graphic Designers - Including Myself As Well!

One of my very first paid work was designing a website for a neighbor of mine. He did pay me and that was the start of my working at home! (I have since moved on to include research on such things as grants and unclaimed money and other things as well.)

But I have seen yet another post from someone who would like to have a logo designed for them and not once did they mention that they would be willing to pay for it. It wasn't until other graphic designers brought up the fact about actually paying for the service did the original poster of the message say that he would be willing to pay $100 for the logo.

I'm sure that there are a lot of graphic designers out there who get this kind of thing where people want them to provide free or a reduced cost service - which is something that is not really fair to ask for in the first place. I mean you expect to get paid for the work you do - right? Why wouldn't the same be true for graphic designers.

I have read many stories from graphic designers about the terrible clients (and wannabe clients) that they have had!

The bottom line is that you should be paid for your services no matter what it is you do!

Tax Deductions!

Now that I can put this tax year behind me as far as my 2007 income taxes are concerned I have to tell you that one of the benefits of having one's own business is that you are able to deduct a lot of things that are considered business expenses!

Since I have earned money from adsense there are a lot of things that I have been able to deduct as far as my blogs and internet services are concerned.

You can also deduct things such as computer supplies, advertising costs and much, much more!

I do have to say that I hate the "self-employment" tax part of filing my income taxes because any income you make over $400 will have a self-employment tax!

I hate paying money! However I do love MAKING money!

A "Word" About Adsense!

I think that Adsense is a GREAT way to be able to make money online! You put adsense ads on your website and / or blog and when visitors to your site click on the ads YOU earn money!

BUT I should also say that you do have to do some work. I mean you may get lucky and start earning money once your site is up but for a lot others work is going to be required. So many people think that by just putting up a site and adding the adsense ads to it that it will immediately start making money and it doesn't happen that way for a lot of people.

I also want to stress that you don't have to have a "cajillion" visitors to your site to start earning money with adsense. I am a firm believer in "content is king" meaning that its the content on your site (and how you "work" that content) will determine your adsense earnings!

Using my own self as an example, I'm not an Adsense Millionaire yet, but I am certainly aiming for that goal! So far I have managed to get an Adsense payment for the last 12 months and even with the minimum amount of $100 that you need to earn to get an adsense payment the next month - even "THAT" $100 (I have been making more than that) comes in handy!

I found another very good article that will interest those who are looking to get (filthy) rich! The article talks about the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. Did you know that Warren Buffet gives most of his money away to charity? And yet and still he is a billionaire.

I posted about it because what stood out in the article was that it said that these two men were visionaries and were willing to take risks.

These are 2 important things that you should keep in mind when you are wanting to start your own business.

I say that because while having one's own business is a very rewarding feeling you should also know that its not always going to be 100% perfect. But if you don't mind being as rich as say a Warren Buffet or a Bill Gates then you will strive to continue on until you succeed.

I saw this video posted on someone else's site and its an excerpt from the movie "The Pursuit Of Happiness". Will Smith plays a man who was at a very low time in his life and he decided to change his life for the better! The story is based on a real-life man who did just that!

If I remember the story correctly the man was homeless and he had a little baby son to take care of. He used to bathe his son in public restrooms! One day he saw a man who was driving a very fancy sports car and he asked the man how did he make his money? The man said he was a stockbroker and so then he decided then and there that that was what he was going to do and he went on to pursue and fulfill his dreams!

I'm A Photographer!

Remember when I said that one never knows what kind of hidden talents they might posess? Well I have recently come to find out that I am a photographer! It never really occurred until I was visiting one of my "art" galleries that I have online. (You can find out more about my "art" by going to my The 3D Beginner blog.

I was looking at other people's art galleries and realized that they had included their own photography into their galleries and I thought to myself that 'hey, I have pictures that I have taken too!' and I started adding them to my art galleries as well.

I have taken quite a few pictures of my local area and have added them to my blog. Now some of the pictures look blurry and some of them are not 100% clear but it is still photography. What is also interesting to note is that most of the pictures that I have taken so far have been with my camera phone. (Note to myself - I need a digital camera!).

Now since I have earned an income from my blogs that means that I can deduct the cost of a lot of things (business expenses) as far as my income taxes are concerned. What comes mostly to mind is that I could buy a digital camera and deduct the cost of it on my income taxes.

Now you may ask about how does this relate to working from home and hopefully it would be obvious but just in case it is not...............................

Because I have a website and blog about my local area, I have been getting email from those that have seen them and these pages are started to get a reputation and their popularity is growing. I have gotten email from some of the local businesses and organizations in the area as well. I put up a picture of our local church and got a nice email from a woman who said that she was feeling nostalgic about the area and was searching online and up came the picture that I had posted of the local church. She said looking at that picture brought back a lot of memories......................

You could start your own little newsletter-type thing about your local area as well. It could be a blog or a website (both that you can get for free!) and you could start to put content on it about your local area. Sign up for adsense so that you can have advertising on your site and start to earn an income from the adsense. Once you reach a certain amount in adsense earnings you can declare this as your business and start to be able to deduct business expenses that are related to running it. Invest in a cameraphone and/or digital camera and go around the area and take pictures. Put those pictures on your site. Let your site build up a reputation and as more and more people come to visit your site it will gain an even bigger reputation. You can then solicit the businesses in your area to advertise on your site. You can make good money using adsense but you can make even more money by getting advertisers directly!

I also have a LaMott Radio (Internet) Station and a LaMott podcast (that I'm still working on) as well. The internet radio station has a yearly fee but the podcast hosting is free.

There are just so many possibilities that one can work with when building up a business such as this. But the important thing to remember is that since your income will be had from advertisers that you have to appeal to them in order for them to want to advertise on your site. Then there can be other forms of income coming from it as well. You could even classify yourself as a reporting and report on different events and issure in your area as well.

There are just so many ways that one can go with an idea such as this one!

Give it some real consideration as a possible business for you to start that you can work from home from it.

Aspirations

I recently had a chance to view a little bit of "America's Next Top Model" and I also recently was looking at a blog about an American Idol contestant who was recently voted off the show.

I really do have mixed feelings about these types of shows. On the one hand they provide great experience for those that have aspirations of fulfilling their Dream Jobs. But on the other hand when they are dropped or voted off it seems so cruel. Some of them have said that they have not given up on their dreams and that they were going to continue to pursue their dreams.

Good For Them!

It can be really tough when you have a dream and sometimes it seems like everything becomes an obstacle - but that is when you have to continue - no matter what anyone else says! I heard a quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer that said "Never let your music die inside of you" and he was referring to his own daughter who wanted to leave school and pursue a singing career. Her father gave her his blessings and even took her on the road with him when he was giving lectures. She has her own CD out now and she is continuing her career as a singer.

If you have a dream that is inside of you that is dying to come out then you should pursue it. There are countless examples of people who have pursued their passions and won! It would do you good to read about some of them. Some of them faced obstacles that are ten times those that you yourself may have to face but yet and still they reached their goals!

Do You Have A Paypal Account?

I got excited when my brother told me that he signed up for Paypal! I got excited for him because that meant that he now has another way to get income. But he doesn't see it that way. When he told me that he was signing up for paypal my thoughts thought of him getting "big-time" money. How? Well he is very knowledgeable about computers. He doesn't just know about computer programs but he also has a whole lot of experience at fixing them.

He said to me that the reason that he was signing up for paypal was for his ebay transactions and that was the only reason for him.

He explained to me that since he does fix computers his customers / clients would have to be of a "local" nature. Now I do agree that it would be quite cumbersome to have clients hundreds of miles away who want their computer fixed but he is not seeing it like I'm seeing it.

He could set himself up as a consultant and / or expert and answer people's questions about computers and be paid a fee for it - hence having the paypal account. There are so many consultants and experts who are doing exactly this very thing! Again - he doesn't see it that way.

I won't give up on trying to convince him though because this is a very great opportunity for him! He just can't see it yet!

If you have a paypal account you should seriously consider using it to get paid yourself. Almost everyone has an area of expertise and you should let that work for you. If you're having doubts about being able to accomplish this kind of thing then you should take a look at some of the websites that are doing this very same thing!

Since I am a 3D Beginner, I am a member of Renderosity.com which is a site for graphic artists (and even webdesign artists) of all kinds. I was looking throught their "free stuff" and saw a picture similar to the one above. (I couldn't use their actual photo without permission so that's why I didn't post it here - I made one of my own)

What came to my mind is that advertisers are ALWAYS looking for a place to advertise and why not online. I have read that online advertising is popular and becoming more and more popular!

Offline I remember I was watching a movie yesterday and during one of the scenes - which was a chase scene - I saw this great big Pepsi truck and I just knew that Pepsi paid a lot of money to have a truck with their logo in the movie! I have read about this type of thing in the newspaper - companies paying big bucks to advertise their products in the movies!

Online there have been people who have auctioned off theirself as advertising displays on Ebay! For instance one guy auctioned off his forehead as advertising space and he got over $37,000! for his efforts! The winning bid for advertising on his forehead was over $37,000 and the winning bidder was a company that makes some sort of snoring-related product.

If you're into graphics of any kind you could simply put a graphic such as this on your website as an invitation for advertisers who might want to advertise on your site!

Constructing the above graphic took me all of 5 minutes and that's not even including other kinds of ways that I could have enhanced the above graphic. I could have made the graphic animated, given it different kinds of colors and just so many other different kinds of ways that I could make it look more better.

Of course you would need a website but if you already have one then you could start there. If you don't have a website you can get one free because there are a lot of free webhosting sites that are out there. The reason why they are free?

Because they accept advertising!

I hope you are getting the hint here! That hint being that if other sites can solicit for advertisers - why can't you do the same thing?

Now I myself do astrology readings but this is the first time that I have heard the term "relocation" astrology.

A relocation astrologer will help people by composing astrological charts for different locations to find a location that charts good results. I was just reading an article about one such astrologer who has a good client base and they work with online clients.

This is just yet another example of successfully being able to work online and have online clients. The astrologer mentioned that they loved doing this kind of work which is also a good example of taking something that one loves and turning it into a business.
